TRENDS OF PERSONAL INTERNET USE AT WORK

Employees who surf internet, write e-mail or do other activities which are not related to the work are called cyber loaf and this activity is known as cyber loafing. It is the way where number of employees waste their time. According to survey, 44.7% of employees are distracted from work and do not pay much attention to what is going on on the company.

The internet has made the business life easy and improved the communication as well as productivity. But cyber loafing has caused the problem which is not controllable. It has been difficult phase for employers as they are been held responsible for the act of their employees. Many organizations block the tools of new social media so that employees do not have any access to these websites or they want that the employees should not waste their time on these websites.
